Is the rental gear compliant with safety standards?

Yes, absolutely. All of the SCBA we supply is compliant with NFPA, OSHA, and NIOSH standards, ensuring it will meet your academy's inspection requirements.

Why should I rent my SCBA instead of buying it from a local dealer?

Renting is far more cost-effective and flexible, especially for students:

  • Massive Savings: Purchasing a complete new SCBA ensemble can cost over $4,000. Renting ensures you only pay for the period of use.

  • Future Proofing: If you are hired by a fire department after graduation, they will supply you with their own specific brand of SCBA, making any gear you purchased obsolete.

How do I know the SCBA will fit correctly?

All SCBA shoulder straps and waist straps are fully adjustable to accommodate different body types. Extensions are also available upon request if needed.

How is the SCBA sent to me, and how do I return it?

The process is designed for your convenience:

  • Delivery: SCBA is sent to you via UPS Ground (UPS Next Day Air and Second Day Air are available at an extra cost).

  • Return: A pre-paid UPS Return Shipping label is included in the box. Simply affix the label to the box and drop it off at any UPS facility.

  • Academy Freight: If your academy manages the rental, we will arrange and cover the shipping to and from the school via freight.

Do I need to clean the SCBA before returning it?

No, please do not attempt to clean or sanitize the SCBA yourself. You should return the SCBA in its used condition at the end of the rental period. We use specific pre-treatments, cleaning agents, and water temperatures to properly sanitize the technical materials of the SCBA.

If the SCBA is damaged during my training, will I be charged?

Normal wear and tear is included in your rental fee. However, you will be responsible for damages that are considered beyond normal wear and tear or for lost equipment. Please refer to our Rental Terms & Conditions for a detailed description of what constitutes chargeable damage.
