Kim Holman: Founder & President
Mr. Kim Holman has dedicated over 30 years to the Fire Fighting and Petrochemical Safety industry. After successfully owning, operating, and selling several companies over 25 years—including Canstar International, Ace Security Laminates, and Dalmatian Fire Equipment—he purchased SCBA Sales & Rentals Co. in 2012.
Professional Experience & Goals
Mr. Holman’s extensive background includes key roles such as the Canadian Operations Manager for Total Safety, one of the world’s largest safety companies.
He has made it his personal goal to ensure that quality breathing air equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are available at affordable prices to underfunded Fire Departments and Oilfield Safety Companies.
The diverse markets served by SCBA Sales & Rentals include:

Mr. Holman studied International Business & Marketing at the North American Institute of Technology in Edmonton, Alberta, and also studied Psychology & Sociology at The King’s University.
Commitment to Giving Back
Mr. Holman has a profound commitment to supporting First Responders through philanthropy:
Co-Founder of Non-Profits: He was a co-founder and board member of two non-profit organizations, Helping Our Own and Fire Aid USA. Combined, these organizations donated over $30 million in firefighting equipment to needy departments across Canada, the U.S., and Latin America.
Ongoing Donations: Although no longer a board member, he continues to personally donate SCBA, Turnout Gear (TOG), and Extrication Tools he collects to underfunded Fire Departments in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
In 2021, SCBA Sales & Rentals donated $250,000 worth of SCBA alone.
Red Cross Hero Nominee: Mr. Holman was nominated for the RED CROSS HERO AWARD for donating 4,000 pairs of firefighting boots to Fire Departments shortly after Hurricane Katrina.
